Gary C. Byler was born and raised in Virginia Beach and graduated from Bayside High School.  He went on to earn an undergraduate degree in Business / Accounting from Georgetown University and served as one of John Warner’s first legislative aides in the United States Senate. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1982.

Following graduation, Gary Byler went to work for President Ronald Reagan in the White House.  Instead of joining a law firm, he returned home and opened his law practice in 1984.

 

Gary, a former commissioner of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, focuses his practice primarily around cases of personal injury.  His associate, Sandra L. Sampson, appears before the local courts to defend traffic and criminal matters.

 

The benefit of the small law practice is that our staff, administration and attorney alike, is hands-on with your case.  Every client is given Gary Byler’s personal telephone number where he can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   Also, every new client is added to the invitation list to our annual 4th of July party, which is traditionally held in our parking lot across the street from Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach.
